TINATIN DVALISHVILI, PH.D. SELECTED AS HOLDER OF THE YOUNG RESEARCHER GRANT 2019
Tinatin Dvalishvili was selected as holder of the Young Researcher Grant 2019 and is the second postdoc whose short-term research project was funded by the Carl Friedrich Lehmann- Haupt International Doctoral Program (LHIDP). The funding started on April 1, 2019 and lasted for a total of eleven months.
Tinatin has recently earned her Ph.D. degree in Political Science from Ilia State University (ISU) and within the frame of the Young Researcher Grant – carried out a follow-up research project on the topic – “Added Value of Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) for Georgia’s Eastern Border Region”. The findings of this project will be published in an international scientific journal.
In addition to her own research project, Tinatin was actively involved as a junior academic in the academic life at ISU, holding seminars for students of Arts and Sciences and organizing events for the doctoral students. Tinatin is also assisting a professor in the supervision of a doctoral student.
