Doctoral Qoloquia and Reading Sessions

The education of PhD students within the Programme-Democracy, Human Rights and Religion(DHR) is based on three pillars: Sufficient time for independent research, weekly exchange with the PhD students and regular colloquia with the supervisors. During their stay in Münster the doctoral students can use the infrastructure of the University of Münster for their research and have own offices where they can concentrate on their work. Students have  a common platform to share ideas, questions and problems they face in their research and writing process. Every semester the PhD students are supposed to present their research results in the DHR-Colloquium where they get feedback from their colleagues and their supervisors Prof. Dr. Michael Quante, Prof. Giga Zedania, Prof. Dr. Thomas Gutmann.  This way, the DHR Graduate School tries to enable the best possible support for the PhD students and their research. Besides, in the weekly reading Sesssions,  the students discuss together with Dr. Simon Derpmann, Dr. Armando Manchisi and Nicolas Koj texts from political philosophy which are a helpful contribution to their own research.
