Olia Rcheulishvili

Received a short-term postdoctoral grant for young researchers within the framework of the Carl Friedrich Lehmann-Haupt International Doctoral Program (LHIDP). The funding began in May 2020 and lasted for eleven months. The title of Olia Rcheulishvili’s research project is “The study of absorption of some monovalent and divalent ions by Arthrobacter species bacteria”.

Olia Rcheulishvili defended her doctoral dissertation majoring in biochemistry at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of Ilia State University, and was awarded the academic degree of certified specialist (master’s degree) at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Currently, she is a researcher at the Institute of Biophysics of Ilia State University and a visiting lecturer in biophysics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine. Olia is also a trainer at European University.
